Nepalese Energetic People in Australia (NEPA) Inc is a not for profit organization founded by energetic Nepalese youths based in South Australia to foster professional connection and collaboration amongst Nepali immigrants in Australia to support parents, kids and younger population keeping Nepali culture and diversity at the apex. NEPA is registered to Government of SA, Attorney-General’s Department.

According to estimates from the UN, there were 281 million people living in the world's diaspora in 2020, and that figure is still rising. Diasporas have made major contributions to the advancement of their home countries via philanthropy, diplomacy, technology and knowledge transfer, and remittances. Many nations have created policies that offer favorable immigration and citizenship policies, as well as alluring financial opportunities, in an effort to engage the diaspora on a deeper level. To improve these chances, however, policies and initiatives still have potential for improvement. The Nepali diaspora is well-positioned to play a major role in Nepal's development endeavors, given their increased level of education and expertise as well as their expanding economic might.

By June 2021, there were 129,870 Nepalese-born Australians, about five times as many as there were on June 30, 2011, when there were 27,810 according to Department of Home Affairs. This is the eleventh largest migrant community in Australia, equivalent to 1.7 per cent of Australia's overseas-born population and 0.5 per cent of Australia's total population.

In recent time, more Nepali migrants have entered the country on skilled migrant visas and dependent visas, usually bringing their close families with them. While not all schooling obtained in Nepal may be recognized, some spouses of immigrants arriving on skilled migrant or dependent visas find it difficult to adjust to life in Australia. Many will therefore have to accept positions that are "below" their level of expertise in the workplace.

Nepalese Energetic People in Australia (NEPA) is therefore established to encourage professional collaboration among the Nepali diaspora to support Nepali communities in many ways and equally promoting international business and trade processes, making individual and collective business investments, creating startup companies, supporting higher education programs, organizing recreational programs and encouraging cultural diversity.

We are planning to motivate youths to different types of sports activities whilst have plan to create a business group as well where one can bring up some ideas and interested members can have investment opportunity. Our vision is to develop skills of energetic youths by showing them a proper pathway to secure their future. For instance, we might have a good chef in our NEPA Family and he/she is working and earning a good amount for other, but as a teamwork we can invest and open up a restaurant and he/she can be a owner. # Parents: We are planning to engage visitor parents in different types of social activities like parents picnic, parents driving lessons, parents day out, parents sports, cultural day, etc.

We have plans for kids to engage them in sporting activities like swimming, football, etc. Also we will have kids day out to zoo, museum, library, etc. Above are just few of the plans. Being in a network, we obviously can help find job, accomodation, proper advise, etc. to new comers as well.
